Hi, I’m Abigail.

I’m a mother to one, a wife to the one I love, and a daughter-in-law to the woman I respect most.
Today, I live my dream life — one I once only imagined — alongside my mother-in-law, my husband, and our daughter.

Since I was young, I dreamed of painting the kind of family I grew up seeing.
The picture my parents painted of family wasn’t always easy, but it had a mysterious beauty that made me want to try, too.

Family is such a curious thing.
It can be messy and painful, but also the warmest, most grounding presence in our lives.
And still — it’s not always easy to be grateful for it every day.

My mother had a hobby: photographing me throughout my childhood.
I think maybe, in her own way, she was learning to give thanks — by capturing ordinary days through her lens.

Now, as a mother myself, I follow in her footsteps, photographing the simple, playful moments…
Reminding myself — and others — of what really matters.

Everything I create is rooted in that same love. The quiet beauty of home.
The small but sacred moments between people who care for each other.
That’s my inspiration.

I’d love for you to experience it with me.

I was looking through my childhood photos when I found a note from my mom on the back. I love how purely she noticed my joy—just because of a hamster.

______

Sunhyang(Abigail) missed Sujeong so dearly
that we ended up taking photos right next door to Sujeong’s house in Yongin.

She weighs 21kg and is on the taller side
for a 7-year-old. Even when she doesn’t feel like eating, if her mom asks, she finishes everything without a word.

Her favorite things are reading, drawing, and studying math, English, and Korean on the computer.

She loves all animals—truly loves them—and gives and receives love with her whole heart.

Right now, Sunhyang is happy.
She has a hamster.
